Pilot Club plans annual benefit mystery dinner

Save the date for the Mineola Pilot Club’s fifth annual mystery dinner and show. This year’s show will be Friday, April 19 at the Mineola Civic Center.  Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 6:30. Tickets are $35.

This year’s mystery, written by Richelle Buller and Bryant Cox, is entitled “Staying Alive.” Since there’s a hint of 1970s in the title, participants are invited to dress appropriately or just come as you are.

A number of exciting items will be available to win, as well as a live auction. Pilots are bringing back their celebrity waiters. Participants will want to tip their favorite waiter for their excellent service.

The MHS Anchor Club will be selling their “pretty purses” for $20, which will give the buyers a chance to win a designer purse. There will also be a sales table of purses for $10, but these are not eligible for the big prize. This is a major fundraiser to help the Anchor Club with their service projects and convention expenses.

To reserve tickets, call Shelly at 903-530-8729. This fundraiser supports the Pilot Club’s brain-related projects.
